About First Unitarian Church

Since 1830 First Church has been an important part of Cincinnati. Our caring community comes together in worship experiences that nourish our spiritual growth and challenge us to be better, more loving people.

Throughout the years, First Church members have taken up the challenge: we've championed individual and civil rights, led educational and civic reform, and worked to promote justice in daily affairs.

We meet in a warm and graceful building that dates from the 1880's. Sunday morning worship services are a focal point for the congregation. They include stirring sermons from our dynamic minister or guest speaker; lovely choral and instrumental music; a lively Religious Education program for children from infants through high school; and a chance to connect with friendly and interesting people.

Our Vision
We will be a liberal religious haven sustained by tradition,
boldly seeking justice, gently transforming lives.
