First Unitarian Church has been a vital part of Cincinnati since 1830. We gather in the centrally-located Avondale neighborhood for worship services that nourish spiritual growth and learning throughout life. We are an active force for positive change in the community through a variety of activities that serve our community and our members.

9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Easter Seeds

Rev. Sharon K. Dittmar

Join us for our intergenerational celebration of Easter and its message of new beginnings. We will learn the story of Jesus and his message of love, as well as the story behind our own Easter flower tradition. An RE graduate Adam Gerhardstein will share with us the "seeds that were planted" when he attended this congregation as a child. As usual there will be potted flowers for the children and others, and the choir will sing the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah. After the 10:30 a.m. service there will be an Easter egg hunt.
