First Unitarian Church has been a vital part of Cincinnati since 1830. We gather in the centrally-located Avondale neighborhood for worship services that nourish spiritual growth and learning throughout life. We are an active force for positive change in the community through a variety of activities that serve our community and our members.

"The Substance of Faith"

What is the difference between Belief and Faith? How can understanding the difference help all UUs, from Humanists to UU Christians, as we explore the connection of Faith to our collective identity and to our interactions with the world? Unitarian Universalism has a great Faith Tradition to celebrate and uphold as we move deeper into what theologian Harvey Cox calls the Age of Spirit. Join us August 2 as we dive into what Faith has to do with the mission and vision of our congregation. Note: we will be back in our own sanctuary at our regular time after two weeks of joint services at St. John's UU.
