A Sanctuary Designed for Music

Picture
First Unitarian is blessed to have great musical talent in its midst, and our sanctuary has excellent acoustics for music performance. Our diverse congregants offer different music styles. Some favor classical, others jazz; some draw from sacred music traditions, some from their experience in theater; some favor folk and guitar; and others have their own rhythm and blues band. Because of the beautiful acoustics, professional music organizations regularly rent our facility for their rehearsals and performances.
Our musical groups are all volunteers, though we occasionally hire professional musicians. If you would like to participate in one of our music programs, please contact our music director, Jera Cox.
