Share the Plate
Giving to nonprofits who share our mission

Picture
Share the Plate is our special collection to benefit a different nonprofit community organization each month. At a Sunday worship service, the beneficiary organization educates the congregation about its purpose, activities, and outcomes. Contributions are accepted that day. Members can also go online anytime that month and donate on the church’s Breeze platform. Donations include money, in-kind services and goods, and volunteer time. Be sure to add a note to your contribution specifying the name of the benefitting nonprofit.

Our members nominate beneficiary organizations that share our values, such as advocacy organizations in housing, environment, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, South Avondale schools, Shiloh Food Pantry, and Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, which works globally.

For more information about how to nominate organizations or how to give to monthly collections, contact [email protected].
